You get what you pay for!

In all my dealings with this program, I have nothing but bad things to say about it.  Customers tell me their computer is dead or infected and I find out they were using the Free AVG Anti-Virus.  You get what you paid for.  You paid nothing so don’t expect anything!  And that’s what you get with free AVG!  Here’s a test I do with customers to prove to them that free AVG is junk.  I will have the customer scan their computer for viruses using free AVG.  When free AVG is done and finds nothing I then remove that program and install a good paid Anti-Virus program.  I then run a scan with the newly installed program and it’s funny how many viruses the paid program picks up!

So which Anti-Virus programs are the best?  Well you can search the internet and find hundreds of Anti-Virus programs for sale.  These 2 are the ones I recommend.

  1. Kaspersky Internet Security and Anti-Virus
  2. Symantec End Point 12.0

I really like the Kaspersky Internet Security/Anti-Virus because it also has webcam security. It will keep your webcam from spying on you!! The other reason I like the Kaspersky and Symantec End-Point Anti-Virus is they don’t slow down your computer unlike Norton 360 and Avast. Kaspersky also has strong Malware protection built into it. Symantec End-Point has some Malware protection, but not as much as Kaspersky.

Now for the people using Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender don’t be fooled.  Those are not reliable Anti-Virus programs and they just barely give you some protection.  Normally Microsoft will load them on your computer when it detects that no Anti-Virus is installed.
